Skyward and Epsilen Online Assessments/Assignments

  • Use Skyward or Epsilen to post assessments or assignments that can then be completed by the student online and scored automatically.*
  • *Not available with essay type questions.

  • With the show running, click the navigation button and select the appropriate slide number.

Access Online Assignments

  • Online assignments can be made through the Other Access menu or when making a new assignment via the Make Assignment Available Online button.

  • When Online Assignment Templates is chosen via the Other Access menu, this filter is displayed. Click Apply Filter to continue.

  • Existing assignment templates are displayed with options to edit/add assignments to the right.

  • Clicking the ⊞ next to an assignment name will allow you to view more information.

  • Fill in the information needed for the template and then begin adding questions by clicking the Add button.

  • When Make Assignment Available Online is chosen, information about access along with editing questions are provided. Using existing templates is available using Clone from Template.

  • When the Add button for adding questions is clicked, this screen is displayed. Choose your question type (Multiple Choice is the default).

  • Provide answer choices and determine which are correct

  • From within a course, click the Tests/Quizzes button. The screen above will show allowing you to add/edit current assignments.
