1999–present Francis Eppes Professor of Information Studies, Information, Florida State University. Selected as the first Francis Eppes professorship (Funded Chair) at Florida State University in recognition of his record of teaching, research, and policy advocacy.
1999–present Director, Information Use Management and Policy Institute, Florida State University. Activities include the promotion and development of the Institute, development of research proposals, conducting research meetings and working with LIS faculty as well as others on campus, and obtaining research funding programs, grants, and awards for the Institute [www.ii.fsu.edu].
