Neutral United Methodist Church Class of 2016 Graduating Seniors: Neutral United Methodist Church is pleased to offer a onetime scholarship of $1,000 to an area senior who has been accepted as a full-time student to an accredited college or trade school. , The recipient will be chosen based on the following criteria listed by highest priority: Church, school, and community involvement Financial need Leadership potential Academic success Qualifying applications will be filled out entirely, including essay question, and will be accompanied by 2 personal reference letters. References should be from a teacher, counselor or other faculty member from your school; and a pastor or other person of leadership in your church or community. Applications should be returned no later than April 15, 2016 to your high school counselor. Scholarship certificate will be awarded at recipient school's senior award ceremony; a check will be presented to the recipient during a Sunday worship service at the Neutral United Methodist Church prior to the start of the fall 2016 semester.
