(pencil) PERSUASIVE WRITING uses a combination of facts, examples and opinions to support an idea. You can also use persuasive writing to help others understand your point of view. Paragraph #1: Introduction. Start with a “HOOK”. Write a line that makes the audience want to keep reading. You may begin by posing a question and include your description of Source State your opinion (take only ONE side) Give background information ♥Tip (Paragraphs 2-4 can use the advantages of your source as the details) Paragraph #2: Write a paragraph explaining one detail or reason why your energy source is viable. Also include the locations where you found your source. (this is a good Paragraph to have your detail about location) Paragraph #3: Write a second paragraph telling another reason why your energy source would be viable for a specific region. Paragraph #4. Write a third paragraph including a third reason why your energy source should be used in a specific region. Paragraph #5 Explain how your alternative energy works? How is it made/formed? And other important information about your alternative energy. Paragraph #6. Write a concluding paragraph. Re-state your opinion. Connect the main ideas presented in the body.
