Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (afcea) Scott-St Louis Chapter

The Scott-St Louis Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) is pleased to announce the annual call for scholarship applicants. These scholarships are for students living in the greater Scott AFB, IL and St Louis, MO region.

  Record of academic achievement, community services and extracurricular activities
  
• 
  Acceptance or attendance of a university, community college or technical school
  
• 
  An essay of 350 words or less detailing the applicant’s goals for their course of study and if applicable their service to their country as a member of the military, a civil servant, or a contractor in the defense or homeland security industrial base.

  The impact if a scholarship is not awarded
  

The application is on the AFCEA website (http://scott.afceachapters.org/) and included in this document. Applications must be mailed in, along with required documentation listed below, and postmarked by 6 April, 2018. Applications will be reviewed and awarded at the annual Awards Banquet held on May 17^th, 2018.

   Fill out this application completely using the word processing software of your choice. Leave the document formatting as it is.

   Applications that go beyond the set number of lines in sections B.2 – B.5 or go beyond the 350 word limit for the essay will be edited before the selection committee will consider the application.
