University Studies Business Concentration Application
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in University Studies-Business is available to currently enrolled Texas A&M University (TAMU) students. Students not currently enrolled at TAMU may not apply. The B.S. University Studies-Business (USBU) degree consists of a 24 hour business concentration and two minors of 15-18 hours each. This degree is unique since a student tailors his or her undergraduate work to align with future personal and career objectives.
The business concentration encompasses a foundational knowledge in the basic aspects of business. Mays encourages the applicant to identify two minors, which must be outside of Mays Business School, that complement the business concentration and reflect individual interests and strengths.
Applicants for the USBU degree program must:

  • have a Texas A&M cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, no exceptions.

  • not exceed 100 total hours.

  • gain advisor approval to pursue the two chosen minors.

  • submit a complete application to the USBU advisor in 238 Wehner.
