The Thinking Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya on 22.02.2013.

The class XII of session 2012-13 is going to give AISSCE examination in March 2013 which is third batch of XII. The students of class XI gave them a farewell party on 20.02.2013.

Republic Day 2013 was celebrated in the school. The flag hoisting was done by the Chairman Shri Madhukar Roat (AM, WRly). Students presented many cultural programmes. In the end, sweets were distributed to all the students.

The school celebrated Annual Function on Wednesday 19^th December 2012. Mr. Madhukar Roat (Area Railway Manager, W Rly & Chairman, VMC KV Railway) was the chief guest and Mr. P. D. Vaghela (Chairman, KPT Kandla) was the Guest of Honour in the function. Students of all classes participated in this event and showed colourful songs and skits.

KVS Foundation Day was celebrated in the school on Saturday 15th December 2012.

Annual Academic Inspection of the school was held on 7^th December 2012, Friday. The inspecting team was led by Assistant Commissioner KVS (AR) Sh. Y. P. Singh. The following officials inspected our school

Sanskrit Shlok Competition was organized in the school on 01.12.2012 Saturday under C.C.A. activities. It was inter house competition in which students presented Sanskrit shloks.

Inter-house science quiz was conducted in the Vidyalaya on 24.11.2012 under C.C.A. activities. The students of Red, Blue, Green and Yellow houses participated in it.

The quiz programme was coordinated by Mr. Dinesh Kumar (PGT-Physics).

The scouts collected money from teaches for communal harmony on 23.11.2012.

The festival of festivals i.e. Dewali was enjoyed in the school on 09.11.2012 under C.C.A. activities. The students performed various activities like card making, diya decoration, rangoli designing and cracking of fireworks.

Cluster Level CMP Meeting for second quarter was held in the Vidyalaya on 05.11.2012, Monday. The Principals, HMs, PGT, PRTs came from cluster schools attended the meeting and discussed the meeting agenda and planned for various activities to be conducted in coming months.

House wise Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition was conducted in the Vidyalaya on 03.11.2012, Saturday under CCA programme.

House wise Group Dance Competition was conducted in the Vidyalaya on 06.10.2012, Saturday under CCA programme.

This year, the school was also venue for Cluster Level Social Science Exhibition. It was organized in the school on 05.10.2012, Friday. Participants from the following schools participated in it.

Surprise Academic Inspection of the school was held on 4^th October 2012, Thursday. The inspection was done by Deputy Commissioner KVS (AR) Mr. P. Devakumar along with Mr. J. S. Khardia, Principal KV SAC Vastrapur, Ahmedabad.

Student Kavi Sammelan was organized in the Vidyalaya on Thursday 27.09.2012 under ‘Hindi Pakhwara’. In this competition – two types of competition was conducted i.e. 1. Self written poems and 2. Poem Recitation.

School level Social Science Exhibition was organized in the Vidyalaya on Tuesday 25.09.2012. Participants of Class VIII, IX and X showed their exhibits to the judges.

Teachers Day was celebrated in the school on 05.09.2012 Wednesday in the memory of President Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. On this day all teachers presented the assembly and senior students played roles of their ideal teachers and conducted the classes and experienced the day with joy and responsibility of a teacher.

The school is observing many events on the occasion of “Hindi Pakhwara”.

In this context, under CCA programme many teachers presented their poems and dohas and self written articles on 15.09.2012.
Teacher ‘Story Telling’ competition was organized on Monday 17-Sep-2012.

Teacher ‘Essay Competition’ competition was organized on Wednesday 19-Sep-2012. Topic was ‘अनेकता मे एकता की परिचायक – हिन्दी’.

Teacher ‘Debate Competition’ was organized on Thursday 20-Sep-2012. Topic was ‘शिक्षा पद्धती कौन सी अच्छी – गुरुकुल या वर्तमान? ’.

Teacher ‘Antakshari Competition’ was organized on Friday 21-Sep-2012.

66^th Independence Day was celebrated in the school on 15^th August 2012. The flag hoisting was done by Chairman Shri Madhukar Roat. On this event, songs and dance was performed by primary and secondary students. Principal madam also delivered speech on Independence Day. At the end of the programme, sweets were distributed among students.

Investiture Ceremony was celebrated on 12^th April 2012 in the Assembly ground. All scouts, Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls formed the line Patrol wise in the Horse-shoe formation at 8.30 am. Chief guest Mrs. Pramila Pal, Principal KV RLY Gandhidham was welcomed by Presenting the scarf by the Guide Captain Dr. S. Tiwari. Welcome by the colour party, Flag Hoisting, Rules, Prayer, Pledge and flag song were performed. All the Scouts and Guides were presented Scarf’s & Vogles in the function. The Chief Guest stressed at the importance of the movement for the all round development of the student.

Book fair was conducted in the Vidyalaya from 16.07.2012 to 20.07.2012. Many students viewed the books and also purchased.

On 08.05.2012, a motivation class for class XII (Science and Commerce) students was conducted by Psychologist Dr. Shradha Murarka on topic “Anger Management”. The motive to arrange this workshop to control/manage student’s anger and to use their power in studying and productive tasks.

Also Vocabulary test was conducted in the Vidyalaya for student.

The Pravesh Utsav was organized in the school for newly admitted class I students on 04-Apr-2012, Wednesday. The parents came with their ward and met with the principal and teachers of primary wing. The Principal, Admission I/C and teachers discussed rules and regulation of the school with the Parents. At the end, sweets were distributed to students. This meeting was conducted under CMP initiatives.
