Background
The Stillman School of Business together with the New York Shipping Association is offering a scholarship to encourage the study of supply chain management. Eligible students can compete for a one-time scholarship of $1,000 which has been funded by the generous support of a Seton Hall alumnus who will be presenting the award at the annual Containerization and Intermodal Institute dinner which will take place on December 9th 2013 in Newark, New Jersey. Winners must be available to attend the Dinner.
Eligibility
All students who are regularly admitted undergraduate students of the Stillman School of Business, or are taking the undergraduate certificate in Supply Chain Management, are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The other eligibility requirements are as follows:
The student applicant must have accumulated as of September, 2013, a minimum of six credits at Seton Hall University.
The applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
The applicant must be in good standing at the University.
The applicant must have already completed the undergraduate course in Supply Chain Management at the Stillman School or be enrolled in this supply chain management course during the 2013-14 academic year.
The applicant must submit an original essay entitled “The key issues facing the supply chain industry today.” The submission should consist of a maximum of three double-spaced pages.
Students must complete the attached application form in order to receive consideration for the award.
