The Cosmetology Program will focus on the development of the skills and knowledge that students need to pass the New York State Cosmetology Licensing Exam, but also to become exemplary professionals in their chosen field. The Cosmetology program focuses on training in hair, skin, and nail services, allowing for students to pursue a career where they may express their creativity.

Electrical System Technician

The Electrical Systems Technician program will provide students with the knowledge and skills to work as an entry-level electrician in various industries and prepare students to enter and electrician apprenticeship. Students will learn the basics of electricity including safety, measuring instruments, AC/DC, National Electric Code, and low voltage wiring. In addition, you will learn to read schematics and blueprints as you focus on residential, and commercial and industrial wiring. Job titles for which entry-level electricians may apply are construction electrician, maintenance electrician, electrical and electronics installer and repair; and electronic home entertainment installer and repair.
