Financial Assistance for the Preservation & Development of Cultural Heritage of the Himalayas
To promote, protect and preserve the cultural heritage of Himalayas.
Depending upon the receipt of eligible applications and subject to recommendation of the Expert Advisory Committee.
Ministry of Culture advertises in the leading newspapers requesting for the eligible organizations to apply for grant-in-aid under the Himalayan Scheme duly recommended and forwarded by the State Government. On receipt of the applications, this Ministry places the same before the Expert Advisory Committee for their recommendations.
Development of cultural heritage of Himalayas through financial supports to NGO’s.
The advertisement inviting application for the year 2014-15 has been issued and the last date for receipt of application is 31.1.2014.
The number of proposals to be approved by the Expert Committee will depend upon the quality of the project and capability of the organizations.
