“NUHASS” is a State level and mass based organization, which involves people in formulation and implementation of schemes. We always welcome and accept their participation because of the fact that no programme can be successful without the active cooperation of the people, for whom the programme is meant. We formulate schemes according to felt-need of the people of the area. We try to understand the psyche of the people and try our best to eradicate social, cultural and psychological barriers, if any, which stands on the way of their development. We evaluate our programmes at suitable intervals, which help to feed back for better implementation. Suggestions and advices of the people are respected. We bridge the gap, whenever necessary, between the people and the Government authorities. We try to solve all the problems of the people with our limited resources and sometimes with the help of the Government.

As long as in-equality prevails in our society, we cannot think of a developed, disciplined life. Therefore, it is correctly stated that great national sin is the neglect of the masses, rural poor, especially the people of SC/ST community. They should be well fed, well cared for and well educated. All possible efforts should be made to bring them to the main stream of the society. Our Organization is trying its best to reach this goal, but the financial constraints are standing on the way. However, it has sought financial assistance from State Government, Central Government and international agencies to achieve this basic goal. Until our goals are achieved satisfactorily, we will continue our efforts.
