    • You must request your transcript to be sent. Online transcript requests-----
    • Please allow one week for your transcript request to be processed. Make sure to pay attention to your deadlines!
    • Some schools may require your college transcript during the application process (UNCG, Appalachian). College transcripts must be requested through the college registrar, $10 fee.
  • Your teachers, counselor and principal are available to write letters of recommendation for you.
  • It may be helpful to provide a resume to the person you are asking to write the recommendation.
  • Provide everyone with the deadlines for each recommendation that you are requesting.
  • It is recommended that you waive your right to view recommendation letters. This gives more credibility to the recommendation in the eyes of the college
  • Check back a week or so prior to your first deadline to ensure recommendations have been completed.

  • Admissions counselors from more than 150 universities, technical colleges, junior colleges and the military will be on hand to answer questions and provide participants with applications and scholarship information.
  • Short sessions is normally held on topics including the SAT, careers, high school graduation requirements and using the Internet to find out about colleges and scholarships.
