MARCH DEADLINES
Tulare County League of Mexican-American Women Scholarship (Local) Deadline: March 31

For seniors who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must be directed towards STEM education as listed with application. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
TCOE Pursuing Victory with Honor Scholarship - $500 Deadline: March 31

Tulare County Dairy Women & Tulare County Dairy Children Scholarships (Local) Deadline: March 31

For seniors with a GPA or 3.0 or higher and plans to attend a 2 or 4-year college/university. For Dairy Women scholarship student must have a career goal related to the agriculture industry. For the Dairy children scholarship must have a parent currently employed on a dairy.

Superpower Scholarship - $2,500 Deadline: March 31

HOPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP(Local) DEADLINE: March 31

Open to seniors who are graduates of Hope School and have a GPA of at least 3.0. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

CSEA CHAPTER 38 (Local) – Amount varies yearly DEADLINE: April 1

For seniors whose parent or grandparent is a CSEA Chapter 38 member and paying the local union dues. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
Porterville Quilters’ Scholarship (Local) - $500 Deadline: April 1

Open to seniors with an interest in quilting or other fabric/fiber arts. It does not have to be a vocational interest. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
WalMart Dependent Scholarship - $13,000 Deadline: April 1

AICPA SCHOLARSHIP FOR MINORITY ACCOUNTING STUDENTS - $1,000 - $5,000 DEADLINE: April 1

For outstanding minority seniors (Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native American, Pacific Islander, or Asian American) with a minimum 3.0 GPA. who are in pursuit of an accounting major and ultimate entry into the profession. Must be or have applied to be an AICPA student affiliate member (at no charge). Patricia Ann Harvey Memorial Nursing Scholarship (A MHS student will be selected) - $300 Deadline: April 1

For seniors attending Porterville College with plans to pursue a career in nursing. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
Chad Alan Crookshanks Memorial Scholarship (Local) - $300 - $1,000 Deadline: April 1

Open to seniors who have or have had a childhood cancer and will attend either a college or vocational school.

Proteus Inc. Scholarship (Local) Deadline: April 1

For seniors who are low income (Guidelines attached to application) parent or student (if over 18 years of age) must have received a service from Proteus within the last 2 years. Plan to attend a two or four-year College, or an accredited Post-secondary institute. Applications are available in the Guidance office.
Springville Women’s Club Scholarship (Local) - $1,000 Deadline: April 1

Sons of Italy, Roma Lodge 1573 Scholarship (Local) Deadline: April 1

INDEPENDENT INSURANCE AGENTS AND BROKERS OF KINGS AND TULARE COUNTIES - $1,500

Open to seniors with a parent or legal guardian currently employed by an Independent insurance agency or broker in Kings or Tulare County and a current member of IIAB Tulare-Kings in good standing. Application is available in the Guidance Office.
DAVIS-PUTTER SCHOLARSHIP FUND – Up to $10,000 per year DEADLINE: April 1

For seniors who will enroll in a college, university or a trade or technical program and who are active in the progressive movement. Early recipients worked for civil rights, against McCarthyism and for peace in Vietnam. Recent grantees have been active in the struggle against racism, sexism, homophobia and other forms of oppression; building the movement for economic justice; and creating peace through international anti-imperialist solidarity. Monache Athletic Boosters Scholarship (Local) Deadline: April 5

For seniors with a GPA of at least 3.0 and have actively participated and completed the season of an athletic team or spirit squad for at least 3 of the 4 years of high school. Applicant must be in good standing all four years (no disciplinary issues). Parents/and or guardians of applicants need not be active Booster members. Sun Pacific Scholarship Program (Local) - $3,000 & $20,000 Deadline: April 8

For seniors who are children of full-time employees of Sun Pacific. Selection based on scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, community activities, leadership, personal interview and financial need. Applicants may attend trade school, community college or 4 year college/university. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
Porterville College Foundation PC First (Local) - $500 & $1,000 Deadline: April 8

For seniors who will be attending Porterville College full-time next school year. A GPA of 3.0 – 3.49 to be eligible for the $500 award and a GPA of 3.50 or higher is needed for the $1,000 scholarship. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
Oral Roberts University Whole Person Scholarship – Up to $20,000 DEADLINE: April 8

Open to grade 12. Well-rounded students, who dream of furthering their education, where they will emerge as servant leaders who are spiritually alive, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, socially adept and professionally competent. Raquel Guerrero Meneses Scholarship (Local) - $750 Deadline: April 15

Open to seniors who graduated from Woodville School and attended there at least 2 years and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Submit your written goals statement and two letters of recommendation to Pat Romero in the Guidance Office.
BURTON EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP - $500 & $1,000 DEADLINE: April 15

Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Scholarship Program (NROTC) – $180,000

For students 17 years of age by June 30th of the year you start college (currently recruiting juniors), have SAT scores of 530 verbal and 520 math or ACT scores of 21 math/22 English, or graduate in the top 10% of your high school class, U.S. citizenship and pass Navy physical. https://www.nrotc.navy.mil/
