  • The department imparts education to SC/ST who forms a majority and supposed to transmit educational values to others.

Challenge

  • Marriage of girl students in between under graduate course and extensive employment opportunity for all give rise to drop out case and we have to fight back the problem there by ensuring women empowerment.

  • The department faces language problem and communication gap which hinder the smooth function of the department and letter result in Examinations.

  • Most of the students are having communication problem & linguistic problem.

Opportunity

  • The department offers extensive career option in higher education and teaching profession.

  • The department imparts education to girl students who forms a majority and supposed to transmit educational values to second generation.

  • Economics Hons is an important prerequisite for Govt. B.ed Course.

  • 11 students out of 15 got 1st class Hons in final TDC Exam- 2014.

  • The departments functions with inferior quality students in many times.

Challenge

  • Most of the students are attending classes from remote interior pockets creating hurdles for smooth running of the department.

  • Lack of industries & companies in the district limits the scope of study tour for the department.
