LIFE GOALS ESSAY

Vision without action is a daydream.  Action without vision is a nightmare.

  ~Japanese Proverb

Description of Essay:

In this essay, you will explain to your readers 3 goals you have set. The first goal is a HIGH SCHOOL goal. The second goal is a PERSONAL goal. The third goal is a CAREER goal. Your essay is not a list of goals you have—it is an explanation and exploration of HOW you will reach the goals (ACTION STEPS) you are setting for yourself. Each year in AVID, you will return to the previous year’s Life Goals essay and reflect on the goals you set previously and your success in meeting those goals.
