a) Curricular and co-curricular activities – classrooms, technology enabledlearning spaces, seminar halls, tutorial spaces, laboratories, botanical garden, Animal house, specialized facilities and equipment for teaching, learning and research etc.
Curricular and co-curricular activities: The college has separate blocks fordifferent faculties—Arts, Home-Science, Commerce and Computers. Spacious and airy classrooms and well equipped lab are made available for the students.
Science Block: All the Science departments are provided with modern labs fittedwith the latest equipment and well- furnished lecture theatres and biology has department has developed medicinal plant garden in the campus.
Commerce Block: The department is provided with spacious and airy classrooms fitted with the latest equipment (white board), Computer lab and Smart class room to enhance teaching-learning there are six classrooms in the commerce department and toilet is attached to it.
Seminar Hall: An echo-proof Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of seventyfive.
Computer Labs:
Two centrally air-conditioned filly networked hi-tech computer labs with24 hour internet connectivity.
b) Extra –curricular activities – Sports, outdoor and indoor games, gymnasium, auditorium, NSS, NCC, cultural activities, Public speaking, communication skills development, yoga, health and hygiene nutritional counselling etc.
Sports
Gymnasium: for training students in a variety of games like Table Tennis, Badminton, Volley Ball, Hand Ball, Wrestling, Judo, cricket and Weight Lifting etc. The college also has a spacious playground, and a Common Room with the provision of indoor games.
NSS: A well-furnished office with computing and internet facility.
NCC: A well-furnished office with computing and internet facility.
Cultural Activities: The College has one multipurpose hall which is used for the major cultural events of the college. The facilities in each are given below:
Music Rooms: A well-equipped Department of Music houses several Acoustic and Electronic musical instruments which are used by the students to hone their musical talents. Music rooms are also made available for music classes and practice sessions. It has a modest but well utilized departmental library of music books, audio and videocassettes, CDs and DVDs.
The following facilities are available in the Department of Music for music items:
Well-maintained Folk music instruments and classical instruments for lessons and practice are available for music items.
4.1.3 How does the institution plan and ensure that the available infrastructure is in line with its academic growth and is optimally utilized? Give specific examples of the facilities developed/augmented and the amount spent during the last four years (Enclose the Master Plan of the Institution/ campus and indicate the existing physical infrastructure and the future planned expansions if any).
The college has augmented the infrastructure to keep pace with academic advancement and growth. Apart from adding structure (rooms and labs) it has upgraded laboratories, additional instruments and equipments in existing labs,computers software. As some part of our original structure has been in existence since 1965s, it was decided to spend resources on refurbishing the classrooms, labs and administrative area.
2009-10
A new laboratory is provided for M.Sc students in the subject of F&N.
Renovation of commerce building such as water proffing, repairing was done.
Renovation of the President Office and Management Meeting Hall was completed.
Automation of office.
Automation of Library.
2011-12
A construction of the girls Hostel building was started with the help of financial assistance of UGC as a special grant. Plans and estimates were approved by UGC and the building committee of the college.
Construction of the 12 class room on the first floor with the seed moneny from the management was started.
A well equipped psychology laboratory has been provided.
Renovation of Computer Laboratory for COC department is done.
Renovation of electronic lab for COC is done.
2012-13
Construction of 12 class rooms on the first floor is completed with financial assistance of the management.
Construction of the new girls hostel is completed with financial assistance of 1 crore Rs. Funded by UGC.
Up-gradation of Labs.
4.1.4 How does the institution ensure that the infrastructure facilities meetthe requirements of students with physical disabilities?
The institute is committed to make the stay of differently-abled students comfortable. It ensures that the infrastructure facilities meet the requirement of the students with physical disabilities by accommodating their classes on the ground floor, providing comfortable furniture and attendant facility. The library facility is provided to them in the multipurpose all located on the ground floor. The needs of the physically challenged are further taken care of by the supporting staff. During the examinations extra attention is paid to them by providing them seats on the ground floor and any other assistance, if needed.
4.1.5 Give details on the residential facility and various provisions available within them:
Hostel Facility – The college is having 2 hostels for the girls and they are located within the campus first hostel is small with a capacity to accommodate 30 students.
Second hostel is constructed with the financial assistance of UGC in the 10th plan under the special grant of 1 crore Rupees. It has 30 rooms dinning hall, Guest room, recreation room, Reading room, wardens block facilities like T.V, Freeze, Telephone, News papers, Medical aids are provided to the students it is well protected with all possible security majors.
Security: CCTV Cameras are fixed at both entrances of the college andhostel. Watchman shed and Gate-keeper room has been made near the gate forproper security.
Total built up area = 1785 Sq. M
Accommodation capacity= 80 Students
Number of students residing in hostel= 60
Guest House: The college has well-furnished guest accommodation with 4rooms, with comforts of home and equipped with facilities like 24hours uninterrupted Power Supply, room services and hot water facility. It houses a lounge with TV, self-iron facility. Other than this there is a common kitchenette for self cooking and on demand services like transport and washing are also available.
Staff Quarters: - Eight staff quarters are available for residential purpose of teaching and non- teaching staff each block consist of kitchen, two bedrooms and one hall with 24 hour water supply.
Recreational facilities, gymnasium, yoga center, etc.:
Recreation room with newspapers and journals.
Recreational facilities like television, games.
Common room.
Celebration of all major festivals with gusto.
Television and Computer facilities in hostel.
Facilities for indoor and outdoor sports activities like Table Tennis, Badminton, Volley Ball, and Hand Ball are also available for boarders.
Facilities for medical emergencies: In case of emergency student is shifted to near by hospital with consultation of Dr. N. K Maheshwariji appointed by the management.

4.1.6What is the provisions made available to students and staff in terms of health care on the campus and off the campus?
Students’ health and hygiene is taken care of by the college 24x7.
Arrangements for first-aid and medical care are fully available for the staff as well as the students inside the campus. In case of serious medical emergency, help is provided by shifting the ward to a nearby hospital.
4.1.7. Give details of the Common Facilities available on the campus –spaces for special units like IQAC, Grievance Redressal unit,Women‘s Cell, Counseling and Career Guidance, Placement Unit, Health Centre, Canteen, recreational spaces for staff and students, safe drinking water facility, auditorium, etc.
