In order to consider your submission we kindly ask for the following to be supplied in ONE single email.
Confirmation that this submission is exclusive to Hello May and will not be submitted to or appear on any other bridal websites, blogs or magazines both here in Australia and internationally.
Your final edit zipped up and sent over via email or Dropbox, Hightail, WeTransfer, Pixieset etc (Pixieset is our preferred method with web res, hi res and original images available for download (don’t forget to include the PIN).
This Q+A and credits list needs to be attached to your submission email as a TextEdit (mac) or word (PC) doc. Please use the credits list and Q+A as a guide for the photos we would like to see included in the submission. Yes we want to see lots of getting ready, portrait and reception photos but we also want to see lots of detail too (invites, cake, decorations, shoes, rings etc etc)
All up 250 - 500 images usually cuts the mustard! The more you give us to work with the better your chances of seeing your submission included in a printed issue. Please ensure photos are named and numbered and appear in order of events.
All photos need to be minimum of 2000px wide and INDIVIDUAL jpgs. Be sure BOTH vertical and horizontal frames are 2000px wide.

Photos not supplied to our pixel specification, or not supplied numbered and in order of events, will receive an automatic no. It is the

Below you will find a few points that will helps us share your story quickly and efficiently with our readers and will also ensure all the vendors who contributed to your wedding are credited correctly.
You will need to list BOTH the business name AND the website.
If you purchased from Etsy or eBay please list the store name and link as well.
If you hired your venue on Stayz, Airbnb or WedShed etc please include a link to the property listing.
If a product or service was made or provided by a friend or family member please specify with their full name and (friend/family) in brackets after their full name. If they have a website please list the website too.
If you used the services of a business that does NOT have a website or Facebook business page please put (no website) in brackets after their business name
Please place N/A where you did not use one of the vendors listed below.
IMPORTANT: HOW WILL MY SUBMISSION BE USED
If accepted your submission will be used in one of the following ways.
It will be one of 200 weddings (out of thousands and thousands of yearly submissions) chosen to be published on the blog OR…
It will be one of 70 weddings (again out of the thousands and thousands we see a year) chosen to be published in one of our five printed editions.
IMPORTANT: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY SUBMISSION IS PRINTED IN THE MAGAZINE?
Should your submission fit one of our printed editions the wedding will be featured exclusively in the magazine for the 3 month on sale period.
