What: Campers will use critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication to help them solve daily Escape Room challenges. Throughout the week, campers will create their own themed Escape Room challenge. The camp will culminate with groups challenging other campers.

iBuen viaje! – Beginner’s Conversational Spanish: Karyn Jakubik

Who: 5th – 7th graders

What: Learn about the Spanish-speaking world as you learn conversational Spanish! You will learn colors, numbers, greetings, places to visit and activities to do. You will also learn to express your likes and dislikes, to buy goods, to order food and more, all while you are planning the vacation of your dreams. The course is useful if you are hoping to travel somewhere, or getting you prepared for beginning your Spanish instruction in grade eight. You’ll have lots of fun too!

Who: Going into 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th grade

What: Learn the process of creating a stop animation project. (Ex: Gumby and Wallace and Gromit). Students will have the opportunity to create their own stop animation movie.

Who: 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th graders

What: Channel your creative side and learn to edit and create digital imaging artworks! Using your smartphone or internet images, you will take these photos to the next level in Photoshop! Have fun, while learning everything you need to know in digital editing by adding layers of digital artistry and special effect to your photos. All art work will be taken home at the end of the course. Designed for students going into 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade
