CHY4U ESSAY & PRESENTATION ASSIGNMENT
GRADING: Your work will be graded using the “Essay Rubric” and the "Presentation Rubric".

These documents are posted on the SSD.


DUE DATE: The beginning of class on FRIDAY 2 MAY 2014. On this date you will

hand in a hard copy of the essay and give a five to eight minute presentation on

your topic.
LENGTH: 1250 - 1500 words (five to six double-spaced typed pages)
TYPEFACE: Times New Roman.
TYPE SIZE: Twelve-point type
SPACING: Double space between lines of type; 1.5 inch margins on all four edges of the text.
COVER PAGE: Follow format given in Figure A.1. “Title page for a class paper” on page 378 of

A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 7th Edition and

on page 377 of the 8th Edition.
