2013–present Associate Professor, School of Communication, Florida State University.
2005–2013 Assistant Professor, Communication, Florida State University. Responsible for teaching two courses a semester, engaging in research in my field and service to the department and academic community. I teach three courses: Desktop Multimedia, Visual Communication and Fundamentals of Speech. My research focuses on media uses and effects, internet use, and online health communication.
2001–2005 Graduate Associate, Technology Enhanced Learning and Research, The Ohio State University. Responsible for teaching one class per quarter focusing on web design and working with clients.
2000–2005 Graduate Associate, School of Communication, The Ohio State University. Responsible for teaching two classes per quarter as a sole instructor or as a TA; or serving as a RA for my assigned professor.
1993–1995 Graduate Assistant, School of Communication Studies, Kent State University. Responsible for teaching two lab sections for the basic speech course each quarter.
