Course Description


The course is to introduce recent advance in the research of kidney, dialysis, and hypertension through lectures and discussions. The students will need to participate the discussion in classes and finish a perspective showing how to dissect an unresolved question in the nephrology.

Course Objective


Introduce the recent advance in the research of kidney, dialysis, and hypertension through lectures and discussions to give students a broad knowledge of kidney medicine. Through the lectures and discussions the students will need to read the relevant literature and explore their curiosity in the unresolved questions in the nephrology. Through the essay of perspective the students will learn how to dissect a question and propose the strategy to answer the question which is still unresolved in nephrology.

Course Requirement

Graduate students in medicine-and biology-related studies. Undergraduate students with the credits of internal medicine.
