Women’s Western Golf Foundation Scholarships
Candidates will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, excellence of character, and an interest or involvement in the sport of golf.  Skill of excellence in the sport is not a criterion.  You must be a female high school senior who intends to graduate in the year of application and plan to attend an accredited college or university. 

Deadline: March 1.  Amount: $2,000.  15-20 awards given.

This is a good scholarship for strong minority scholarships for students studying in areas like chemistry, engineering, physics, and “tech” areas.
