There are a large number of web sites dealing with contemporary Chinese art. I include a list below from ChineseType Contemporary Art Bulletin whose website is http://www.chinese-art.com.
There is also a large but selective bibliography by Britta Erickson -which nonetheless omits many texts published in Australia - whose website is http://www.stanford.edu/dept/art/china. Ms Erickson has kindly priovided some disks of her December 1998 version and I have placed a full print out in the Power Research Library.
