AEC Scholarship Requirements


Eligibility

The $1000 scholarship sponsored by the Administrative Employees Club is open to any child or grandchild of a current AEC member (2009/2010) who is attending or plans to attend the University of South Carolina-Columbia or any of the regional campuses for

Fall 2010. The scholarship is for $500 per semester, not to exceed $1000 in the

2010/2011 academic year.


Entry Guidelines

Entrants must complete the 2010/2011 AEC Scholarship Application Form along with their essay and information sheet. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Only single author essays qualify. Applications must be postmarked by May 21, 2010

Activities Guidelines

Please attach an informational vita on high school, college and community activities in which applicant has participated (please include office held, awards received, etc).

Essays must have a minimum of 100

maximum of 150 words.
The word count includes “a,” “an,” and “the,” but not the words on non-essay pages such as the title page.

Text must be typed (or printed legibly)
Text must be double-spaced.


Entry Form

Applicant must attach essay and Information sheet to a complete 2010/2011 AEC Scholarship Application Form application. Application must be complete, legible, and must include signature. Applications must be postmarked no later than May 21, 2010.
