Portland Public Schools Science Expo

Held at OMSI in March
Students compete in 17 categories encompassing all scientific disciplines, engineering, computer science and mathematics.
Grades 9-12
Students must qualify at this regional science fair ( top 1/3 of projects ) to attend the state level science competition: Intel Northwest Science Expo ( NWSE )
Both regional fairs and Intel NWSE send winners to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair ( ISEF= national level )
