Vegetarian Resource Group College Scholarships Deadline: February 20, 2017
Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, The Vegetarian Resource Group each year will award $20,000 in college scholarship money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, or fowl. Vegans are vegetarians who do not use other animal products such as dairy or eggs. One award of $10,000 and two awards of $5,000 will be given. Entries may only be sent by students graduating from high school in SPRING 2017.
BSO Ivy Foundation Scholarship Deadline: March 1, 2017
The BSO Ivy Foundation Fund was established in 2004 to support the Beta Sigma Omega Chapter charitable scholarships and gifts. This is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation administered in conjunction with the BSO Ivy Foundation. Funds may be used for educational-related expenses such as tuition, fees and books at any academically accredited two-year, four-year or vocational technical nonprofit institution in the United States. Payments are made directly to the school. Award Amount: $1,000
H.W. Almen West OKC Rotary Scholarship

The West OKC Rotary established the H. W. Almen Scholarship Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation with the purpose of providing scholarships for students graduating from high schools in Oklahoma. Award amount: $4,000.00
OK-AHEAD Scholarship Deadline: March 1, 2017
OK-AHEAD offers scholarship money to Oklahoma students with disabilities in post-secondary education. Applications must be postmarked on or before March 1 of the award year. Scholarships can be applied at any Oklahoma technology center, or any two-year or four-year college or university. Up to three scholarships will be awarded: one to a student who will or is currently attending an Oklahoma two-year institution, another scholarship award for a student who will or is attending a four-year institution, and a third scholarship awarded to a student who attends or will attend a CareerTech. If there are no applicants from one of these institutions, the award will not be disbursed. The award amount will be up to $500 based on available OK-AHEAD funds.
Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation Scholarships Deadline: March 1, 2017
"Your Future is out there, create it". Scholarship awards vary in amount from $1,000 to $5,000 per academic year, in most cases, for up to four years. To be eligible to compete for one of our scholarship awards, you must have the following: Applicants must be pursuing a career in printing technology, printing management, publishing or graphic communications. A student who is enrolled in a printing or graphics program at a technical school, college, or university within the United States. Applicant must be a full-time student. A high school senior or high school graduate. Be able to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Kohl's Cares' Scholarship Program Deadline: March 13, 2017
Applicants must be nominated by parents, educators or community members. There are two categories: one for kids ages 6-12 and another for ages 13-18. Nominees must be legal U.S. residents who have not graduated from high school.
BMW/SAE Engineering Scholarship Deadline: March 15, 2017
This annual scholarship is provided by BMW AG in recognition of its commitment to excellence in engineering. BMW is world famous for designing and building luxury, high-performance passenger cars and motorcycles. The company is also a leader in developing and manufacturing high technology, high performance internal combustion engines. This scholarship is in support of the SAE Foundation to ensure an adequate supply of well-trained engineers for the future. One scholarship will be awarded each year for $1,500 per year. Scholarship may be renewed at $1,500 a year for three additional years (total award $6,000).
Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence Deadline: March 15, 2017
The Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence, established by Dan and Vicky Hancock, provides financial support for students pursuing college degrees in the field of mechanical engineering. One scholarship will be awarded each year for $5,500. Students will be eligible to receive the scholarship for multiple years but the student must reapply each year and be selected by the SAE Scholarship Committee.
Donald & Barbara Mozley Scholarship Deadline: March 15, 2017
The Donald and Barbara Mozley Scholarship provides financial support for students pursuing an engineering degree at an ABET-accredited college or university. Depending on corpus state and number of qualified candidates, SAE will strive to award seven scholarships of $5,000 each year; Students will be eligible to receive the scholarship for multiple years but the student must reapply each year and be selected by the SAE Scholarship Committee.
Edward D. Hendrickson/SAE Engineering Scholarship Deadline: March 15, 2017
This scholarship, established by Hendrickson International, honors the late Edward D. Hendrickson, a pioneer in the commercial vehicle industry. The Young Radiator Company established this scholarship in memory of the company's founder, Fred M. Young, Sr. Mr. Young started the company in 1927 and saw it grow to become a major force in the field of Heat Transfer. He had a high regard for the value of engineering in terms of its contribution to the success of society. One scholarship will be awarded each year for $1,000. Scholarship may be renewed at $1,000 a year for three additional years (total award $4,000).
SAE Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies Scholarship Deadline: March 15, 2017
Established in 2007, The Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies (Ford PAS) Scholarship was developed by the Ford Motor Company Fund in partnership with Education Development Center Inc. (EDC). It is for high school seniors who are past or present students in a Ford Next Generation Learning Community, and/ or past or present students of a Ford PAS program at their high school or in a Ford PAS afterschool/weekend/summer/college program. One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded each year.
