IN TEXT REFERENCING
ALT + T, (NUMBER)

When you cite authors for the first time in your paper you should state all the authors. For further citations of this work you can use ‘et al’

Some minor problems with intext referencing and quoting.

Avoid the overuse of direct quotes. Consider paraphrasing instead. A large number of direct quotes does not provide the reader with any indication of whether you are able to interpret the information in the quote

When you use direct quotes make sure there is a lead in statement to the quote and some discussion about the quote follows

Make sure the quotes you use are relevant to the topic being discussed and do not stand alone outside the discussion

Single space and indent long quotes (greater than 30 words) and no need to use quotations marks

Incorporate short quotes (less than 30 words) into your text writings
