**SENIOR CAP & GOWN PURCHASE: Want to buy your cap & gown price is only $15.26 (includes cap, tassel and gown)? Bring your money on FRIDAY, 2/24, during lunch outside of Business & Activities office. If you want to RENT the cap, tassel and gown for FREE, then do nothing. If you rent, you will be able to KEEP YOUR TASSEL AND CAP. Just return the gown to pick up your diploma the Monday after graduation. Seniors who missed turning in their cap & gown measurement card can turn it in at the same time. - Activities
***DISTRICT WIDE CAREER FAIR:  Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 2pm - 5pm at Mark Keppel High School. Free bus provided from SGHS to MKHS.  Afterwards, take home buses for SG students will be on a regular all-stops drop-off.  Sign up in the College & Career Center ASAP if you will need a ride to our Career Fair.

Newspaper and Yearbook are now recruiting for new staff members for the 2017-18 school year. Both are A-G classes. Please stop by H2 for an application or ask any staff member for one. Hello matadors! Two of our clubs on campus, NHS and ETC, are having a used greeting card drive. Once collected, these cards will be sent to the St. Jude's Ranch for children where volunteers will decorate them and give them to abused, neglected and homeless children, young adults and families. Explore Your Future (EYF) is a six-day career exploration program at Rochester Institute of Technology for college-bound deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students who will begin their junior or senior year (current 10th & 11th graders) in fall 2017. Program focuses on personal growth & career awareness for students as they begin to think about college. Cal State LA is hosting ProgFest (Annual PROGramming FESTival) 2017 on Saturday, February 25, 2017from 8:15 a.m. – 3 p.m. This annual Cal State LA Programming Challenge will offer high school & community college students an opportunity to solve college-level and real-world programming problems by applying the principles of computer science. We believe today's high school & college students have great potential, & we hope this experience will help them in their future studies of computer science & software engineering. Admission is free, and lunch will be provided to all participants. This year the competition would be modified as an Android workshop followed by a Mobile App. Development Challenge. Register early.
