CAHSEE: Show other examples of prompts
Writing Prompts Strategies: 1. Accurately, complete the “Do/What T-chart” for all four prompts. 2. Attack the prompts one at a time. 3. Then, develop an introduction and using a pencil, write it on lined paper. 4. Be sure to indent and make it neat. 5. Try to complete all four.
The introductions should be 3 to 4 sentences and no more or less.
Possible Lead ins (Hooks): Use the lead in paper I gave you for debate.
RQ, Anecdote, Identification, Description, General to Specific, etc.
With Response to Literature, use TAG and a summary lead in.
Use part of the prompt for each thesis and use the “DO” as the methods of proof…If there are two methods of proof from the prompt, write two good solid body paragraphs
Think of a Current or Historical Leader, Current or Historical Event, Persuasive Essay (This is what you are doing now…Argument), Response to Literature
