Dale Carnegie Leadership Course




Available to any high school student in Berks County. This scholarship course develops public speaking, increases interpersonal skills, and increases self-esteem and self-confidence. Kyle Bleiler Memorial Scholarship




Kyle Bleiler was a 2001 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School and Berks Career and Technology Center. He was an active and dedicated participant in serving his community.
The scholarship will include a $500 donation from the Topton Community Ambulance Service as well as a $500 donation from the Topton Volunteer Fire Company. Award will be paid after successfully completing the 1st semester of school.

Shoemaker-Bond VFW Post #7071 Citizenship Essay




The Shoemaker-Bond VFW Post is sponsoring an essay contest for Brandywine students. The subject of the essay is “Ways that I can be a better citizen in today’s world.” The essay should be a minimum of 500 words. Essays should be returned to the counseling office.

$6,600 over 4 years; is available to students with financial need, scholarship, and personal attributes who are planning to attend West Chester, Shippensburg, Millersville, Kutztown, or Cheyney universities. The Son's of The American Legion, Squadron 217 has made available a $500.00 scholarship. To qualify one must NOT be in the top 10% of class and write a 250-word essay on "What Does Freedom Mean To Me". Stop in the counseling office for more information.

$10,000 is awarded to well-rounded students, ages 13 – 18, which excel academically, exhibit leadership through extra-curricular and community activities, and do not smoke.

$500 is awarded to a Brandywine Senior who has been accepted at an accredited institution in the field of visual arts or music. Applications can be obtained in guidance or the art room.

United Steelworkers of America




United Steelworkers of America - Hugh Carcella Scholarship Program: Open to any student of a member in good standing. Applications may be obtained from your local participating union. Six, four year scholarships, each with a total of $4,000 are awarded.

USA Funds Access to Education Scholarship




The program scholarship is worth $1,500 annually and renewable. Awards are based on academic performance, potential, leadership, work experience, and economic need. 50% of the awards given to minority and physically disabled students. Stop in counseling office or www.usafunds.org

The Victor Emmanuel II Society is offering a $12,000 scholarship to an eligible Berks County student of Italian decent. Applications are available in the counseling office. Applicants will need to verify their heritage of Italian decent.
