  • Look back at “McDiculous”

    • Alliteration

    • Juxtaposition

    • Allusions to culture

  • Look at YOUR work:

    • Where can you spice up a line or two?

      • Look for some alliteration.

      • Look at your examples

    • What about specific words?

      • Nouns

      • Use of sensory detail?

      • Active Verbs:

        • Hunt down ALL –LY ADVERBS and KILL THEM. DEAD.

      • What about sentence variation?

        • All simple sentences (S –V – O)?

        • Any complex sentences?

        • Compound Sentences?

        • Fragments (on purpose?)

      • Any Fat to cut?
