PROVINCIAL COORDINATOR TECHNICAL RESOURCE FACILITY (DFID AND AUSAID FUNDED PROJECT RUN BY HLSP)
Looking after technical support being provided to Mother and neonatal child health program in Sindh and also providing as per the requirement of the health department government of Sindh related to MDG 4 and 5, Which included the provision of DHIS formation for the province development of costed work plans for the province based on the health sector strategy
Senior Program Officer Global Fund for AIDS TB and Malaria Round 9 HIV grant
Looking after country wide project, which includes the provision of free of cost medicine to all the Anti-retroviral treatment all over Pakistan, providing support to Injecting Drug users and their families, providing support to community based organizations of PLHIV.

Have designated community health based centers called CHBC site at the moment we are running 13 of them, in addition we are supported by our other PR having Copc sites for testing and referral of these vulnerable population mainly injecting drug users, And all of this is augmenting the health system of public centers as all our activities of treatment are provided through government facilities
Following the spirit of 18th amendment we are in the process of bringing the entire four provincial AIDS control program as our working partners in the form of sub-recipients
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for Global Fund for AIDS TB and Malaria (GFATM) Round 9 on HIV/AIDS
I was supervising the activities under this grant in the whole province of Sindh, which includes the monitoring of the working of our partner NGOs working for the betterment of Peoples living with HIV and AIDS, provision of ARV treatment through 5 treatment facilities, 3 for adults and 2 for children. In addition the concept of home treatment and support is also part of this grant and we are in process of establishing the CHBC sites in the whole country
PROVINCIAL SURVIELLANCE COORDINATOR HIV AND AIDS SURVIELLANCE PROJECT (CIDA)/ANTENATAL CARE STUDY FOR HIV/AIDS SURVIELLANCE IN GENERAL POPULTATION
I was the provincial head of the HASP project and we are conducting Antenatal care study (surveillance for HIV) in Larkana, Thatta and Karachi
And second generation surveillance (SGS) i.e. integrated behavioral and biological survey (IBBS), in addition there will be antenatal care unlinked survey in the province of Sindh under the aegis of CIDA and I was also running a provincial data unit of the same, which had entered and uploaded the data of both studies. The unit was handed over to Sindh AIDS control program
Senior Program Officer (Country head) Global fund for AIDS TB and Malaria Round- 7 (GFATM-United Nations Fund)
I was working on the position designated as Senior Project Officer (SPO) since May 2009 till 18th of July 2010, which is a number one position of the project. I was looking after a 22 million dollar grant initiative of GFATM in strengthening the effort of Directorate of Malaria in 19 high incidence districts of Pakistan.
Provided overall leader ship to program in achieving its targets. I was involved in multifarious approach of reducing Malaria burden. This required planning, negotiation, intervention designing and monitoring both at the base and in the field. I was also supervising the behavioral change communication aspect of the project. We were looking after the preventive and curative part of the problem of Malaria through our Partner NGOs working in the field and implementing the various activities.
By the end of our first phase we were able to reach 2.5 million peoples mainly the children under 5 and pregnant women we were able to provide measureable results in our target districts, which was authenticate by the third part evaluation

Involvement also includes planning, scrutinizing, monitoring and evaluation of various development schemes. I am also actively involved at all stages in preparation of Health Policy

I have developed individually project proposal of Telemedicine in 9 districts of province of Sindh which amounts to 92.67 Million. Another proposal I have helped in reviewing is Basic Development Needs Program( BDNP) in Sindh which is a program funded through WHO along with Government of Sindh I am also assisting in the making of project for the whole province of Sindh for District Health Information System, which is also amounting to approx. 150 Million.

The work also includes the supervision and monitoring of the ongoing projects of preventive health. The projects include MNCH HIV/AIDS T.B. DOTS, MNCH, Telemedicine, Basic Development Needs, and Nutrition etc.
Senior Registrar, Civil Hospital Karachi. (October 2004 – August 2008)

I was doing teaching at various levels assigned the teaching at undergraduate and post graduates. My major areas of facilitation included Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Chest Medicine, and Management topics as well. Being a qualified Chest Physician I was also looking after the Outpatient as in charge of outpatient facility catering to around 200 patients daily and also teaching the students visiting the OPD. I was also looking after the Direct observation treatment short course (DOTS) being implemented with the support of WHO and government of Pakistan

I was in charge of Planning and Development of the largest Hospital of Pakistan with bed strength of 1740. I was providing expert opinion for all-new projects being originating in the hospital I was helping on making their PC-I (Projects), also supervising the all ongoing projects of the hospital. In the process I was taking the information about the working of various departments and there changing need accordingly we were planning for the improvement of the services accordingly.

CONSULTANT FOR GFATM, WITH BRIDGE CONSULTANTS FOUNDATION FOR THE PROJECT OF ADOVCACY COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL MOBILIZATION (ACSM) IN SEVEN DISTRICTS OF SINDH PROVINCE.
A project of GFATM being implemented by Bridge Consultants as sub recipients of Mercy Corps. I am doing overall supervision work and providing them input as per the need and requirement. I have developed the training material also conducted sessions with all groups of our project, which include the policy makers at the level of Towns, NGOs and CBOs participant and journalists to involve them in case finding and propagating the awareness.
CONSULTANT FOR TB/HIV CO-INFECTION PROJECT OF GFATM WHICH WAS IMPLEMENTED IN FIVE DISTRICTS OF SINDH PROVINCE (completed)
A project of GFATM implemented by Bridge Consultants Foundation as sub- recipient of National TB Control Program. In which the Tb patients are being screened for HIV and HIV patients are being tested for the TB infection. Our permanent centers also provide them with pre and post test counseling on the spot.
