Student Evaluation :

Upon successful completion of this course the student should achieve 60 % of the total marks and 30 % of the marks of the written examination. Evaluation will be carried out through the following:

  1. Written short notes to asses knowledge.

  2. Written MCQ examination to asses their ability to choose, analysis, decide and implement his knowledge appropriately.

  3. Commentary case presentation.

  4. Clinical examination: to asses professional clinical skills.

  5. Oral examination

List : Indication and side effects of lines of management of different psychiatric disorders.
Student assessment methods :

1. Written exercises (case study) to assess their understanding.

2. Essay examination to assess the students ability to organize and express ideas.

3. Objective written examination to assess items linked to learning objective.

4. Oral examination to assess knowledge skills and attitudes.

5. Clinical examination to assess skills

Assessment schedule:

Assessment 1: Objective written examination at the end of the term of the 4th year.

Assessment 2: Objective written examination at the end of the term of the 5th year.

Assessment 3: Objective written examination at the end of the term of the 6th year.

Assessment 4: Final examination by:

Weighting of assessments


End of term of the 4th year examination: 25% of the 20% of the total score

End of term of the 5th year examination: 25% of the 20% of the total score

End of term of the 6th year examination: 50% of the 20% of the total score

End of the course: 80% of the total score of evaluation
