|ANNUAL REPORT - 2012-13
I have immense pleasure in presenting the Annual Report of The Aditya Birla Public School, Malkhed Rd., Gulbarga for the year 2012-2013.
'Nothing builds self confidence and self esteem like accomplishments'. This magazine celebrates the very many accomplishments and achievements that have been made by our students in this academic session. Yes, it has been a result of dynamic partnership of parents, teachers, students and management geared towards qualitative achievements and in the words of William Blake, “No bird soars too high, if it soars with its own wings.”
The last academic year has been one with a plethora of activities and experiences, all of which have been extremely positive and rewarding.
At the outset, we thank the Almighty Lord for all the blessings rendered to us during this academic year. God nurtures us in countless ways.
Our commitment has been to ensure the overall holistic development of our students in addition to our efforts to impart the best education. We also provide equal importance to extra-curricular activities like sports, physical education, literary, cultural and self development etc.
At present, there are 1136 students on roll with 47 Teachers, 2 Administrative staff and 09 Supporting staff.
“Knowledge is a comfortable and necessary retreat and shelter for us in an advanced age; and if we do not plant it while young, it will give us no shade when we grow old”
The name and fame of any educational institution is determined by the collective performance of the students. In this regard, I am happy to inform that our Board examination results of March 2012 have been spectacular. The pass percentage of Class X and XII is 100%. The highest percentage in X is 95% and XII is 92.2%.
Academic session 2012-13 started in the month of April as per CBSE guidelines and the two terms were equally divided. Books were distributed in the beginning of the session before summer vacation.

We feel everything that makes life worthwhile, comes from a good attitude.
I quote Charles R Swindoll “The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.”
