is offering a $1000 scholarship to graduating high school seniors interested in early childhood education or a related field of study involving children for example, Teacher, Pediatrician, Psychologist etc. Eligibility: enrollment in a community college or accredited college, university, public or private and must have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5. Please pick up an application in the Career Center. Return completed application package back to the Career Center. Deadline: February 25, 2010 by 3:00pm in the Career Center.

zu Chi Foundation
is pleased to offer the Tzu Chi Scholars 2010 scholarship program. Open to all graduating seniors. Eligibility is determined based on the students financial need for college tuition, 3.0 GPA, and planning to enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time for the entire academic year 2010-11. Candidates are selected on the basis of financial need, personal and academic achievement, and community involvement. Please pick up an application in the Career Center. Deadline: March 1, 2010

SULA 2010-2011 President’s Scholars Program Application-
California State University, Los Angeles is pleased to offer several $20,000 scholarships ($5,000 per year, that may be renewed for up to three additional years). Additional benefits are: Free parking permit every quarter, priority registration, enroll in G.E. Honors courses, annual dinner with CSULA President. Criteria: Be a California resident, GPA of at least 3.75, have a combined SATI score of a least 1200 or composite ACT score of at least 27, qualify for college level English and Mathematics. is available to underrepresented students (Asians, Hispanics and African Americans), 2.7 GPA, and must be legal U.S. resident. Awards are based on need, academic achievement and community involvement. A personal statement (no more than 2 pages) about contribution to the community and career goals is required, transcript and letter of recommendation.
